The Story
Casa de la Ermita is a stunning Tinto blended from 45% Cabernet, 30% Petit Verdot, and 25% Monastrell. This red wine has a stunning burgundy red color with violet reflections and deep color intensity. Aromas of black ripe fruit are typical of the terroir from which these grapes were harvested. Notes of fine wood are imbued from the light aging in French oak barrels. Tasty tannins give this wine a medium body and good mouth persistence. We recommend serving between 57-61 degrees with red meats, stews, or semi cured cheeses.
