A wide range in temperatures between day and night, and irrigation from the mineralized runoff from the Andes Mountains makes for excellent Malbec growing conditions. The wine is a deep red color with violet hues with aromas of plums, Morello cherries and blackberries. Notes of vanilla come for the 6 month aging process in American oak barrels.
The tannins are velvety and sweet with a persistent finish. This is a vibrant, fruit-forward Malbec with well-balanced acidity and pairs perfectly with grilled meats, saucy pastas or semi-hard cheeses.
